Andrea McOwen: 00:00 A question I know that all of you have gotten, and I have gotten it several times is, “What makes SEG different?” So how do we answer that?
Ron Schild: 00:15 I always think about everything that I've done with Strategic Enhancement Group. There's this tremendous commitment to be successful and a lot of companies say they do that. But, I think we really believe that we want to be successful and that really is the ultimate goal in terms of whatever we're doing for the customers. So I look at that commitment for success amongst everybody that works at Strategic Enhancement Group.
Joane Ramsey: 00:45 I also think that if the clients tell us that, they see our commitment and they come to us and they say, "You know, I never worked with someone that has actually invested so much time in making sure that we can achieve the results that we are looking for." So, I think that makes a huge difference as well.
Andrea McOwen: 01:00 I think another thing is flexibility. That sounds like an easy thing, but there are so many companies out there who have a very rigid process and they will not change from that process. They won't customize, they don't change their process. So I think our goal is always to be as flexible as we can and meet the client where they are.
Bruce Michalowski: 01:18 That's a key difference people have told me working with us. I was a client of SEG's before I worked for them and that's what always impressed us when I worked for Nalco. This group of people worked with us to change what we had. We customized it completely, and I think we carry that forward. I know all the customers that I've dealt with in the time I've been working for SEG is that they've never had that commitment to success, the passion about it, and the fact we are flexible enough to change things. We have changed schedules from two to four days to accommodate customers. I think most people as you said, are more rigid, “Here's the way it's got to be.” More off the shelf than we are, we don't take that approach.
Joane Ramsey: 02:01 The other thing that we bring to the table is experience. We have some incredibly talented people working with us and that experience, there is no price to it. When the client feels that we truly understand their industry, that we understand their needs, and we can connect the dots. I think it helps make a true impact on the difference.
Andrea McOwen: 02:22 I think the other thing is, we've said it, and you know the word has been thrown out there a little bit, passion. There isn't a person in this group or in all of SEG that doesn't really believe in what we're doing. And we believe we're making a difference and that's what keeps us going. That's what gets us up in the morning. And so I think that you can't find that everywhere and I think that's really big.
Bruce Michalowski: 02:45 I agree completely. What keeps me going is what people tell you at the end of the class. "You know, that's the best training we've ever had. You guys worked with us to get to this point", and then to hear the success story later in the follow-up. That's really what makes me feel good about what we do.
Ron Schild: 03:00 I was impressed because we do evaluate and we asked people what they think at the end of a training event and we take that seriously. We want to get better and we're not afraid to ask the question, “How did it go, what did you learn, what could we have done better?”
Andrea McOwen: 03:18 To summarize the things that make Strategic Enhancement Group different. First of all, first and foremost, is our passion. We all said that's something that we believe is probably very different about us. Secondly, is our flexibility and wanting to meet the client where they are, come up with solutions that fit exactly what they need. Our experience and the number of people that we have with just an incredible amount of experience that they bring to the table. And finally, our commitment to the client success and making sure that what we do for them gets them to their strategic goals.
